student to work at a San Francisco-based secondary private equity firm this
summer and learn about the venture industry and investment process.

YOUR
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist
in the preparation of marketing materials and managing the fundraising process
for a new secondary fund
- Assist
in identifying and evaluating potential investors
- Generate
investment ideas and opportunities
- Participate
in due diligence process for potential investments
- Financial
modeling
- Industry
trend analysis
- Other
strategic initiatives
REQUIREMENTS
- Interest
in private equity industry and general knowledge about the types of firms and
investments
- Knowledge
of the secondary investment sector is helpful
- Highly
motivated self-starter who has a track record of continuous self-improvement,
high achievement, and aggressiveness.
- Strong
analytical skills. High attention to detail. Experience in finance or
accounting helpful.
- Strong
writing skills ability to communicate with high-level executives
- Professional
demeanor and presence
- Familiarity
with major online networks (LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.)
